The challenge was crafting an eco-friendly Senior Citizen Township, tailored for 600 retirement villas, fostering care, comfort, and community through architectural and landscape design. Creating specialized landscapes, jogging tracks, and gardens were vital. The prism-like restaurant, nestled in the open expanse, prioritizes morning light for breakfasting seniors. Its design harmonizes with nature via a water cascading glass roof and thoughtfully placed openings. A courtyard links kitchen services and the dining area, ensuring smooth transitions. A self-sustaining water system recirculates roof water to the splash pool and back. A substantial stone-clad west wall mitigates heat absorption. Emphasizing fluid transitions and multiple volumes, the design fosters user engagement and connection without a singular entry.
